Do you want to help strengthen the City of Copenhagen's fight against social dumping and develop the municipality's profile of social sustainability in the fight against social dumping?

The City of Copenhagen's rapid-response team against social dumping is a front-runner in the fight against social dumping. The team ensures that suppliers to the municipality and collaborating municipalities in the Capital Region comply with social clauses on fair pay and working conditions and on the education of apprentices. The rapid-response team has great attention from politicians, labor market parties and organizations that work for orderly conditions in the Danish labor market.

You will be a professional and managerial front figure

The rapid-response team is now seeking a team leader who will lead the effort and achieve the goals of the ambitious agenda on social sustainability. You will lead 16 dedicated employees with high professional standards and diverse backgrounds, collectively forming a highly specialized team. You will encounter high motivation, professional case handling and time for professional sparring, and you should preserve and develop this.

As team leader, your primary tasks are to

• be the people manager for the team's employees and be a role model for good conduct and good results
• participate professionally in the established workflows and interfaces with an eye for the team's professional development
• ensure daily operations with capacity planning, task prioritization, quality and timeliness
• contribute to the well-being of the office and provide the right framework so that the team has the conditions to carry out the tasks

You and the team develop and enforce Copenhagen's social clauses and simultaneously run The Common Rapid-Response Team Against Social Dumping in the Capital Region – a collaboration between 16 municipalities and public institutions. You must both strengthen cross-disciplinary collaboration within the organization and draw inspiration from outside so the team stays at the forefront of a rapidly developing agenda.

Together with the head of department and the team leader of the office's team for environmentally sustainable procurement, you join the office's daily management with a shared responsibility for holistic thinking, knowledge sharing and collaboration. In the management team we complement each other's competencies by coordinating the office's overall portfolio of tasks and helping each other through sparring in an open and honest leadership space.

For you, this provides a large personal scope to delegate and lead, as you know your mandate and the expectations of when the team is a success. We are generally a workplace with visions and ideas, and you have the ability to follow ideas through, as you take on a special role in building a bridge to the team so ideas become action.

Who are you?

We would like you to have experience as a team leader from an interest group or industry association, a public administration or another workplace with many stakeholders. Your profile also includes

• knowledge of the Danish model and the legal professional system
• experience cooperating with labor market parties and collective bargaining interpretation
• ability to make qualified legal assessments

You should also have solid experience with social sustainability, including particularly pay and working conditions, to be a good and competent professional leader and sparring partner.

Last but not least, it is important that you are empathetic and have a natural interest in and curiosity about people. You are able to build good relationships both internally and externally.

Employment terms

You will be placed as a Chief Consultant with personnel responsibility under the applicable collective agreement with the City of Copenhagen. We prioritize your professional and personal development so you have the best conditions to succeed in your tasks.

The position is located in the Center for Finance and Procurement in Corporate Services, which is part of the Economic Administration. We are based in a modern office environment at Borups Allé 177. We have busy periods, but we generally desire flexible working hours, and we have many initiatives to ensure a nice and pleasant working environment.
