About us

The Material Main Depot in Skrydstrup is part of the Depot Department under the Defence Supply Service.

We are responsible for coordinating, receiving, storing and readying materiel. In addition, our task is to optimize the placement of materials as well as receiving and placing new ones.

We have an informal tone, but at the same time we place high value on professionalism and provide good and stable service to our customers.

About the position

You will join a small team of specialized case-handling colleagues whose main task is to provide support to the section in the form of quality control of materiel. These tasks range widely from supporting the section’s employees and partners to contact with customers and case handlers.

The daily work is characterized by many varied tasks mixed with routine tasks. You will daily handle operational and logistical tasks and the associated case processing.

The tasks may include, among others

• Quality control of materiel to ensure that materiel is handled and delivered in accordance with applicable materiel instructions, procedures, regulations, etc.
• Forwarding materiel for calibration or other checks, both externally and internally
• Case handling in relation to usable materiel

About you

We anticipate that you have a vocational education as a warehouse and logistics operator or another relevant vocational education with an apprenticeship/education certificate, but this is not a requirement.

It is advantageous, but not a requirement, if you are an experienced user of SAP R/3, preferably SAP VM – IM – QM and PM as well as the Office package, and have solid knowledge of typical workflows in a logistics company.

As a person you are proactive and able to translate actions into results. You think holistically, are good at collaboration, and you value having clear frameworks and targets for case handling and its quality.

You are used to working independently with planning and managing your tasks.

We would like you to have completed at least 1 mandatory course and 1 elective course from an academy education focused on leadership or other relevant at a comparable level.

Employment terms

The employment is in accordance with the applicable Collective Agreement between the Ministry of Finance and the Danish Confederation of Trade Unions and CO10 – Central Organization of 2010 and the Collective Agreement between the Ministry of Defence’s Personnel Service and CO10 and the Central Association for Stamped Personnel for civilian employees under the Defence Ministry’s area of authority within the Central Association for Stamped Personnel’s negotiating area (formerly the Defence Civil Service).

The base salary is DKK 31,005.06 per month with vocational education.

The base salary is DKK 29,618.76 per month without vocational education.

Depending on your qualifications and competencies, there is potential for negotiating allowances. There is an employer-funded pension scheme attached to the position.

The workplace is Skrydstrup.

As an employee under the Defence Ministry’s area, you are subject to certain special terms. You must, among other things, be security cleared and maintain your clearance throughout the employment period.

As an employee you are obliged to perform duties outside the country, including at units in international operations for participation in conflict prevention, peacekeeping, peacemaking, humanitarian and other similar operations.

About the Defence Supply Service

The Defence Supply Service became part of the Operational Support Command on 1 January 2026, which is a staff that plans, coordinates and partly controls logistical operations across the Defence and develops the logistic area and setup in step with the Defence’s development.

The Operational Support Command consists, in addition to the staff, of four authorities with their own distinct tasks. The Defence Maintenance Service, the Defence Medical Command, the Defence Supply Service and the Joint Movement and Transportation Organization.
