Skanderborg Municipality is located in scenic surroundings, which offer ample opportunities for outdoor activities – e.g. around the Gudenå river and the Søhøjlandet region.
Within a short number of years it is expected that the population of Skanderborg Municipality will have grown to around 70,000 inhabitants. They have a natural need to be able to move on an integrated road network, both in connection with commuting to the rest of the region and within the municipality. It is our task to ensure that this can take place safely and securely, regardless of whether it is drivers on the roads or pedestrians and cyclists on our many paths and squares.
Skanderborg Municipality actively works to limit climate changes and adapt to the climate of the future. We support partners in the green transition and make green choices in the municipality's own development and operations.

As a workplace, Skanderborg Municipality is known for a flat structure and a high ceiling for ideas. Welcome to natural surplus.
