Maternity leave vacancy as social mentor in Greve Municipality

We are seeking a professionally grounded and engaged colleague who would like to work with individual mentor programs under the Act on Active Employment (LAB).

About us

PPV offers support to adult citizens in Greve Municipality who live with mental and/or cognitive challenges as well as social limitations.

We work purposefully to create development and mastery in citizens' daily lives, and we believe that change happens best in the citizen's own environment – therefore our work takes place at many different premises.

About the position

As a social mentor in PPV you work independently, but are at the same time part of a team of about six employees, where there is an opportunity for professional sparring.

As a social mentor you work according to the LAB law with a strong employment focus. You help citizens in Greve Municipality closer to the labor market by helping the citizen handle the barriers that exist to entering education or employment.

A social mentor's tasks can e.g. be

• Support during discharge from psychiatry – including support for outpatient treatment
• Assist the citizen in contacting doctor, psychiatrist or addiction treatment
• Support to manage finances with contact to bank, set up a budget, handle e-box/MitID
• Support to clarify future possibilities in relation to education and work
• Help to focus on one's own resources and competencies
• Help to create structure in everyday life
• Support to get out of the home and to use public transport

About you

You can be social-pedagogically educated or have special experience within the pedagogical field in the employment area. We emphasize that you have experience from the employment, addiction and/or psychiatric area.

• Are flexible in your task solving
• Have good pedagogical competencies and are accommodating of other people
• Can work independently
• Can express yourself both orally and in writing
• Have good collaboration skills, as we in Greve Municipality work across centers and disciplines

About the position

There is one vacant position, and it is a maternity cover for 37 hours per week until 1 December 2027 with the possibility of extension. The position is wished to be filled as soon as possible and no later than 1 December 2026.

Salary and employment terms in accordance with the applicable collective agreement. A criminal record check will be obtained upon hire.
