Mechanic – Technician – Repair of gears and gearboxes – Aarhus

Are you the type who likes to know why something isn’t working – and who would rather take it apart yourself to find the fault?

PRONOR IndustriTeknik as is looking for a skilled mechanic/technician for our department in Aarhus. You will become part of our workshop, where you will primarily work with repair and refurbishment of gears and gearboxes. In addition, we work with repair and service of, among other things, electric motors, generators and pumps for the industry. You will therefore have a daily work with various technical challenges and the opportunity to use your practical skills. You will become part of the team in Aarhus and report to the department manager.

We imagine that you

You are trained as a mechanic or have a comparable technical background – and you have solid experience with repairing gears and gearboxes from, for example, cars, trucks or construction machines.

You have practical experience with the entire process from

• Disassembly and fault finding
• Replacement of bearings, gears and seals
• Inspection and assessment of worn components
• Assembly and final assembly
• Testing and trial

If you also have experience with repair and troubleshooting of industrial machines, that is a clear advantage.

The most important thing, however, is that you enjoy working with technology and mechanics and that you take responsibility for your tasks. You work independently, think in terms of solutions and don’t give up when something is tricky.

You are also a good colleague, have a good sense of humor and value a work environment where people help each other and get things to work.

What do you get with us?

With PRONOR you will have a central role in our workshop and become an important part of our department in Aarhus.

We have an open and informal organization with short decision-making channels, where there is not far from idea to action. You will have the opportunity to work with different technical tasks and apply your experience in practice.

We offer salary and terms of employment at a competitive level.

If you have questions about the job, you are very welcome to contact the department manager Peter Steiniche at 20 66 18 19. If it sounds like something for you, please send your application and CV to [email protected] and write "Gear Technician – Aarhus" in the subject line.
