Worker for the cleaning chamber - evening shift

Do you like to use your body, to get involved and be part of a team where we help each other to make production run smoothly? Then maybe it’s you we’re looking for for the cleaning chamber’s evening shift at BIRN in Holstebro.

In the cleaning chamber we receive the cast iron workpieces when they come from the casting line. Here the inlets and outlets from the casting process are removed, the pieces are cleaned in machines and, if necessary, finely finished.

It is here that the pieces receive their first processing and quality control - and where we ensure that they are ready for the next step in the production.

Your daily life in the cleaning chamber

You will have a varied and active daily life, where you both operate machines, handle materials and help keep the production flow.

Your tasks will include

• Keep an overview of the production and ensure that the materials are ready for your colleagues
• Find and prepare castings for machining
• Operate grinding and cleaning machines
• Assist at the output belt when needed

You must be ready to roll up your sleeves. The job is physically demanding, and you will handle many pieces during a workday. In return you will have an active daily life where you can see the results of your effort.

Safety always comes first. You must be able to work in step with a production that runs continuously, and be prepared for tasks and workstations to change during the day.

You don’t need to know everything from day one. We provide thorough on-the-job training where you will be introduced to both machines, workflows and safety.

Evening shift: 14.34 - 23.25 and Friday (every third week) 14.09-21.00
