Would you like to help create a meaningful leisure time for young people? We are looking for engaged pedagogues or club assistants for the youth clubs in Frederikssund Municipality.

About us

The youth clubs in Frederikssund Municipality are pedagogical leisure-time offerings where we create the framework for activities, relationships and communities that the young people want to be part of. We are an entity with four local clubs.

That means that when you are employed, you belong to all clubs, but have your primary base in one of the four youth clubs. The clubs are located in Skibby, Jægerspris, Slangerup and Frederikssund town center.

There are typically two to three employees in each youth club. In addition to the fixed opening hours there will be hours used for meetings, trips and planning of the evening club. Since we are closed during school holiday weeks, we work extra hours on an ongoing basis to be able to take time off in these weeks.

It is important that in your application you note which of the three positions you are applying for or if you could be interested in more than one.

Vacant positions

• A pedagogue/club assistant position of 28 hours with 2 evening shifts in Frederikssund Youth Club.
• A pedagogue/club assistant position of 18 hours with 2 evening shifts in Jægerspris Youth Club.
• A pedagogue/club assistant position of 22 hours with 2 evening shifts in Slangerup Youth Club.

• Jægerspris: Monday and Wednesday
• Slangerup: Tuesday and Wednesday

About you

We expect that you

• are educated as a pedagogue or have relevant experience from the leisure sector, e.g., from a leisure- or youth club or similar. This is a requirement to be considered
• are engaged, proactive and outgoing and can translate ideas into concrete activities and communities with the young people.
• thrive in a small staff team where cooperation, independence and shared responsibility are essential for a well-functioning daily life. You take initiative and act on what you see as needed.
• can be flexible and contribute constructively to the collegial work community.
• can create trusting relationships with young people with different needs, set clear boundaries and handle conflicts and difficult conversations with young people and parents in a calm and professional manner
• are a clear and present adult who takes responsibility and maintains an overview, even when unforeseen situations arise.
• take joint responsibility for daily operations, including planning and carrying out activities, tidying up, communicating offerings and purchases
• actively contribute to collaboration with colleagues, the municipality's other clubs, schools and external partners.
• have a driving license (category B).

About the Frederikssund Youth Clubs

The Youth Clubs are part of Ungeliv, which also consists of Ungdomsskolen, UU, SSP, the U10 center and Fritidspas. The idea behind Ungeliv is to strengthen cross-disciplinary collaboration and create the absolute best framework for the young people in the municipality.

Salary and terms of employment

Employment is in accordance with the applicable collective agreement. Salary is negotiated according to the Ny Løn principles.

A child and criminal record check will be obtained before final employment.
