Mechanic/Crane Technician wanted for the Greve area

Thorn Vikar & Rekruttering is recruiting on behalf of our partner in Greve, 1-2 skilled and experienced mechanics or crane technicians for service, repair and installation of cranes and lifting equipment.

It is advantageous to have knowledge of cranes, but since you will primarily work with mechanical, hydraulic and electrical fault finding, we simply expect that you have a solid technical background. There will be thorough on-the-job training in the role.

The position is Try & Hire with a view to permanent employment.

Your main tasks will include

• Service and repair of cranes and lifting equipment.
• Fault finding as well as replacement and maintenance of hydraulic, mechanical and electrical components.
• Preparation, installation and testing of new equipment.
• Conducting inspections and safety checks.
• Documentation of performed service work as well as technical advice and customer contact.
• Technical support in connection with complex service tasks.

We expect that you

• You are technically trained, such as truck, agricultural machinery, construction machinery or industrial mechanic, or similar.
• You have practical experience with mechanical, hydraulic and electrical fault finding.
• You have a good understanding of electrical diagrams, sensors and electrical systems as well as knowledge of CANbus and PLC controls.
• You work in a structured way, are quality-conscious and have a strong focus on safety.
• You have a high level of service, are adaptable and thrive with planned tasks that may change at short notice.
• You have a category B driving license (as you may need to travel to customers) and a certificate for hot work.
