Minibus drivers – for our department in Stenstrup

VIKINGBUS is seeking new drivers for our Minibus department in Stenstrup with start as soon as possible. We are looking for drivers who want to drive as relief drivers, as well as a few drivers who want fixed part-time employment between 0 - 25 hours per week. Working hours are primarily on weekdays, where split shifts will occur.

VIKINGBUS plays a central role in ensuring that many citizens with mental or physical disabilities can be driven to and from school, to rehabilitation or to their activity offers, workshops, etc. It is therefore essential that you as a minibus driver at VIKINGBUS create a caring and safe ride for our citizens, and it will be you who helps create the good and positive experience of the trip.

Our motto at VIKINGBUS is “We drive with people”, and therefore we are looking for drivers who demonstrate both professionalism and empathy in their work.

Personal competencies

• You have the ability to create a safe and caring atmosphere
• You have great empathy and understanding for citizens with special needs
• It is an advantage if you are a non-smoker, as we must comply with municipal rules that smoking is not allowed on their properties
• You have communication skills that create a positive mood
• You are flexible and can adapt to different needs and situations
• You are patient and handle challenges with calmness and kindness
• You ensure a calm and safe ride, and always ensure all citizens arrive safely and well
• You are experienced as a driver

Qualifications

• Large professional driver's license, Category D
• EU qualification card
• Driver's license (Tachograph card)
• Taxi driver license preferred
• BAB certificate 1,2,3 and possibly 4
• Speaks, writes and understands Danish
• Child certificate (obtained during the employment process)
