It is never fun when the damage has occurred – We basically all know someone who has been affected by a water damage to some extent. As a moisture technician you become the specialist who works with insurance claims - mainly moisture and water damage.

It is you who assesses the damage, performs moisture measurements, prepares electronic moisture reports on site, and lays out a plan for how the damage can most efficiently be remedied.

As a moisture technician you are therefore one of everyday heroes who help our customers quickly back to their everyday life!

Recover is a damage service company, which mainly handles insurance damages – including suddenly occurring damages. You will therefore experience busy periods during the year, which can entail occasional overtime.

As a rule you work as a moisture technician only during daytime on weekdays. You will also be included in our on-call rotation, which helps our insurance customers around the clock. This is agreed individually in each department, as the need for shifts may vary.

Your background can be many things: moisture technology, craftsmanship, damage restoration, the insurance industry or something entirely different.

The most important is that you are

• structured and solution-oriented
• good at taking responsibility for your own cases
• able to maintain an overview in busy periods with many ongoing cases
• motivated by helping other people

It is also important that you are proficient in using IT systems, as IT is a central part of everyday life.

A workday with responsibility and freedom

As a moisture technician you plan your own workday. You have the case responsibility, which means responsibility for safety, customer contact, coordination of staff and equipment, a high level of service, and ensuring a good financial outcome in the individual case.

You are in ongoing contact with many different people – from assessors who need reports, to claimants who want status updates, and not least colleagues who need to be briefed before they start the task.

A typical day can start from home with case follow-up. Then you drive out to inspect damages, perform measurements, and prepare reports – often at the customer’s site or from the company vehicle.
