A LITTLE ABOUT ME

I am 31 years old, living in a cozy townhouse in Holstebro and I have 2 lovely cats.

I am a writer, a chess player, a hedonist and I love to travel.

And I have muscular dystrophy and use a ventilator. Therefore, I need help with all practical matters, such as personal care, all respiratory needs, household tasks, cooking and companionship outside the home.

JOB DESCRIPTION

I am looking for a substitute to my wonderful team.

My team consists of 8 on fixed hours and a small handful of substitutes.

Several of both the full-time staff and the substitutes have been here for 5+ years. Some even for 10 years. But we need YOU!

A little about the person I am looking for

✨ You have a category B driving licence, are an experienced driver and are okay with driving in big cities. You must also be able to drive a car with manual transmission.

✨ You enjoy being social, but you can also entertain yourself.

✨ You are responsible, stable, reliable and have plans to stay for a minimum of 6 months. Training takes a long time and requires effort from both sides.

✨ You can take the initiative to handle tasks yourself, and are thorough in performing your work.

✨ You can stay calm in unforeseen and acute situations. You will of course receive thorough training in how to handle these.

✨ You are flexible when it comes to illness and vacations within the team. If we all help each other, everything works best.

✨ You like animals – especially cats and dogs.

✨ You are generally positive, open to new experiences and have a sense of humor.

✨ You have the opportunity to join me on a vacation of up to 10 days. It is always announced well in advance.

✨ You have your own car and are not dependent on public transport.

More practical information

☀️ The position is as a substitute, so the number of hours largely depends on how flexible you are. There will be between 0-10 shifts per month. I of course understand that one cannot live on being a substitute, and therefore may have a part-time job or be self-employed with the possibility of remote work alongside. But I also need someone who truly has time and energy to help.

Please think carefully about this before applying.

☀️ There is 60 hours of training at home and a 6-hour course in Skejby. The training must take place within 14 consecutive days.

☀️ The salary is at pay grade 13 in Holstebro municipality, and you move to pay grade 14 after 3 years. Allowances are paid for taking shifts with short notice.

☀️ I need help around the clock, and the shifts are divided into day and night shifts. They are awake night shifts.

☀️ Start as soon as possible.

You will, as a disabled-care assistant, be part of a good, flexible and necessary team of disability helpers who collectively cover all shifts year-round. The job takes place in the citizen's own home, for leisure activities, social events and the excursions the citizen would like to participate in.
