Female personal care assistant sought for 24-hour shifts in Holbæk

Caregiver needed for a young woman for six or more overnight shifts per month. I am 33 years old, have CP (spastic paralysis), and I live in Holbæk in a terraced house. I am looking for a calm, robust, flexible, stable, patient, present, warm and empathetic helper for my disability care team.

A monthly work schedule is set, where you have a lot of influence on the placement of your own overnight shifts. You should be able to contribute when colleagues are ill and accompany me on my holidays. You have a helper room at night and for breaks. When you do not have breaks, you follow me.

The job involves help with personal care, eating, cleaning etc., and you also have to help me when I write, communicate and read. It is important that you have good patience, as I communicate with a speech-generating device and sign language. Once you get to know me, it will not be a problem to understand what I say. My disability means that everything takes longer. You must therefore be calm and able to accept that there is not always something new happening.

You must have a driving licence, as I have a disability car that I use often.

I love to be cozy and relax by baking, making photo books, listening to music and audiobooks. I go swimming, where the aide is in the water with me. I like going shopping, as well as visiting friends and family (I have just become an aunt). I am a big family person and like to travel.

I try to take care of myself so I do not get exhausted and show signs of stress. Therefore it is important that you have understanding and patience. An employment of at least one year is aimed for, as I invest a lot of effort in training.

Salary terms: 156.69 DKK + allowances. There are on-call hours at night = 117.51 DKK.

It is the municipality's economic assessment and provisions we follow and remunerate according to. All information about pay will of course be available via your caregiver profile. All caregivers receive holiday pay of 12.5% of the pay, which is paid into the Holiday Account.
