About the job

With us you’ll have a daily routine where you are the night-time safety person who supports residents in their various challenges. You will work in the residents' own homes with the challenges and tasks that exist there. This may include support for personal care, practical tasks, medication or conversations. At the same time you will also handle tasks in the institution's communal areas, which include cleaning, self-monitoring, laundry and meal preparation. In addition there will be administrative tasks such as documentation.

About us

Development Center De 2 Gårde is a residential facility for adults with an intellectual disability and other issues that make the challenges complex. This can include, for example, an additional psychiatric layer, diagnoses, general developmental disorders, social problems or substance abuse issues.

Geographically we are located on three sites in Brejning and the surrounding area. There are a total of 106 supervision-approved places under the Social Services Act §§107-108, the Housing Act §105 and the Social Services Act §104, Activity and Social Interaction Offer.

At our center we work with a focus on our defined core task: ”to promote an independent and meaningful life for the individual resident, where the resident makes their own choices, can manage as much as possible on their own and participate in valuable communities”. We have an appreciative attitude and approach to the residents, the work and to each other. We believe that we can all develop. We have a strong focus on ethics and work purposefully to create well-being and quality of life for both residents and staff.

What we expect from you

You are trained as a pedagogue, social- and health assistant or social- and health helper, or you have experience as a care assistant.

Employment terms

There is a permanent position available for 33 hours per week. You will be attached to the night shift team Fuglekær ward A and B. Salary and employment terms according to the applicable collective agreement and the principles of Ny Løn.

The working hours are planned with 7 days of work from Monday to Monday, and 7 days off, so your weekly hours will be more than the 33 hours in the week you work.

The salary range will be advised in connection with the invitation to interview.
