Night shift urgently needed for a fixed-term (5 months) position as an awake night guard in Boenhed 10, the village of Sølund

The position is 37 hours per week and planned as 7/7 weeks, Monday to Sunday in odd weeks.

The working hours are from 22:00 to 07:15.

The position includes several roles and tasks depending on whether it is House 9 or House 10, both part of the care unit.

House 9: As night shift in House 9 you work alone in the house and have awake supervision of 8 residents as well as several practical tasks.

In the same period there are 2 other awake night shifts in House 10.

House 10: As night shift in House 10 you work together with another awake night shift in the house.

The task as night shift in House 10 is divided into 2 independent functions, which alternate between the 2 night shifts.

• The one half of the night you have awake supervision of 6 residents as well as several practical tasks in the house.
• The other half of the night you have awake supervision of one resident in their apartment. This task involves being on duty with this resident at all times. You may not leave the resident without being relieved by a colleague.

About Care Unit 10 in the Village Sølund

Care Unit 10 consists of two connected houses with a total of 16 residents aged 18 to 80 years.

Common to all residents is that they have permanently reduced functional ability, most are wheelchair users, and their developmental age ranges from a few months to about 3 years.

We are seeking a night shift worker who

• Is responsible and can work independently
• Has experience with and knowledge of the area.
• Has experience with Columna Cura as a documentation tool
• Is respectful and clear in their communication, both written, spoken and nonverbal
• Is reliable, has humor and meets everyday life with a smile, joy and drive.
• Is aware of how the working hours will fit into your other life
• Has a driver's license
