Nurse for Colorectal Surgery Department sought for a permanent position

Surgery, Colorectal Surgery Ward seeks, as of January 1, 2027 or by agreement, a nurse. The position is 37 hours per week.

About the department

Surgery is divided into two smaller wards: Gastrointestinal and Breast Surgery and Colorectal Surgery ward. Colorectal Surgery has 19 beds and two affiliated clinics.

The work in the ward is very exciting and varied. We have a broad specialty with many different patient categories, including both acute and planned surgery. Most of our patients are acutely ill, which means occupancy is variable; we therefore have both busy and quiet days.

In the ward it is organized as assigned patient care with a buddy system. This is between two nurses or between a nurse and a social and health care assistant. We continually work to optimize workflows to benefit patients, staff and partners. In addition, we work purposefully with professionalism – we want to be the best. We practice nursing where the relationship with the patient and relatives is central, and we deliver care based on the Fundamentals of Care, which is our nursing strategy.

We place great emphasis on a good work environment, and all employees should be met with the right amount of challenges. We have a good collegial community where we look out for and help each other. We have a positive, relaxed and informal tone, with room for humor and diversity. In addition, we have a very good collaboration with our surgeons and the other partners involved in daily work. About salary and employment terms

Salary and employment terms are in accordance with the applicable collective agreement in the field. With reference to the Act on the collection of a child certificate in connection with the employment of staff, etc., a child certificate will be obtained in connection with any employment.
