When night falls, there are still citizens who need qualified nursing, clinical judgment, and a professional who can create calm and security when the situation requires it.

We are looking for a nurse for our night shift in home care in Faxe Municipality. Maybe it is you who thrives on working independently, keeping an overview in acute situations and making a noticeable difference for the citizens – even when tasks cannot always be foreseen.

A night shift with meaning and professional challenges

As a nurse in the night shift you will have a versatile workday, where your professionalism and your clinical assessments are decisive. You meet citizens with different needs, and you have the opportunity to use your entire nursing toolkit.

Your tasks include

• Acute nursing , where you must assess the situation, prioritise and act safely.
• Palliative care , where presence, relief and care make a decisive difference.
• Nursing for regular residents , where continuity and familiarity create security.
• Acute tasks at the municipality's nursing homes and residential facilities , where you contribute with your nursing expertise.

You will have an independent role, but you are not alone. You become part of a fixed and committed night shift team, where collaboration with social- and health-care assistants and social- and health-care aides is an important part of the problem-solving.

We emphasise that you receive a good introduction to the tasks, know your partners and experience that there is an opportunity for professional sparring.

Who are you?

We imagine that you

• Are a trained nurse with Danish authorization.
• Have clinical experience and thrive working independently.
• Can remain calm, prioritise and make professional decisions when acute situations arise.
• Meet citizens with care, respect and professional safety.
• Value close collaboration with colleagues across professional groups.
• Are responsible, flexible and enjoy working at night.
• Have experience with or a desire to learn the documentation system CURA.

The most important thing is that you want to take responsibility, contribute to the community and help ensure good and safe nursing – also during the night hours.
