The ward is divided into two teams

Nurse in the palliation ward in M5

Are you passionate about palliation and working with seriously ill patients?

The palliation ward – Team 2 is for incurably ill patients who require a palliation intervention. Patients are admitted at very different stages of their journey, which is why the ward comprises many different aspects, ranging from treatment to care for the dying person. The focus of the ward is treatment and symptom relief, so that the patient and their relatives can live the life that remains, with consideration of each individual’s understanding of quality of life.

The ward works closely with our mobile Palliative Care Team, which consists of a doctor, nurses, physiotherapist, social worker, chaplain and psychologist.

Nurse in neurorehabilitation in M5

Would you like to be part of neurorehabilitation in Thisted, where we value interdisciplinary collaboration, and where everyone contributes to a good patient journey?

In neurorehabilitation – Team 1 receives patients for neurorehabilitation at the primary function level, characterized by patients with brain injury of limited (low to moderate) complexity.

You will be part of an interdisciplinary team that includes doctors, nurses, social and health care assistants, physiotherapists, occupational therapists, speech-language pathologist, social worker, neuropsychologist and dietician.

The ward is jointly integrated in a close collaboration with the surrounding municipalities with a focus on creating good patient pathways and nursing with a high professional standard and quality for patients and relatives.

Common to the two teams are helpfulness, positivity and humor. The entire staff group wishes to develop and learn together, in order to make the most of our potential.
