Nursing student looking for shifts every other weekend

We envision that you are studying nursing or another relevant study track - the most important for us is that you are interested in working with older people.

At Kornumgaard Nursing Home we work to ensure that the residents;

Your tasks You will be part of the care on an equal footing with the other staff, and you will among other things:

• provide personal care and practical help based on each resident's needs
• support residents' resources and help maintain their functional level
• document in Nexus
• contribute to safe medication management and good hygienic practice
• contribute to good interdisciplinary collaboration around the residents

We are looking for you, who

• are a nursing student or studying another relevant field
• are interested in working with older people
• work professionally and responsibly
• focus on the relationship with the resident and the importance of good communication
• thrive with both independent tasks and collaboration with colleagues

Who are we? Kornumgaard consists of three teams with a total of 70 apartments and its own production kitchen. We are also an education site for social and health care assistants, social and health care helpers and nurses.

Our work is based on respect for each person's dignity, self-determination and quality of life.

The nursing home is part of Danske Diakonhjem under a service agreement with Brønderslev Municipality. Kornumgaard Nursing Home will transition to municipal operation as of 1 January 2027.

Practical information

• 8 hours/week or hourly paid employment
• Working hours will mainly be every other weekend
• Salary and employment terms are in accordance with the applicable collective agreement and the principles of local wage formation and agreement with the negotiating organization.
• Employment as soon as possible or by agreement
• We obtain a criminal record check.
• Kornumgaard is a smoke-free workplace.
