Nymarkskolen is seeking an engaged and relationship-oriented teacher for a position of 80%, primarily attached to the special needs area and functional classes, with commencing on January 1, 2027 – or as soon as possible ..

We are looking for a teacher who, with presence, authenticity and care, can create strong relationships with young people and at the same time actively contribute to both the academic and social community in the upper primary/early secondary years.

About Nymarkskolen

Nymarkskolen is the Municipality of Svendborg's youth school and upper primary/early secondary school for three primary schools: Tved School, Thurø School and Ørkildskolen. We have approximately 550 students across 7th–10th grades, including sports classes in collaboration with Team Denmark and a 10th grade center with an EUD program. In addition, we offer a functional class with currently 25 students. The school has 65 dedicated staff and a leadership team of four.

You will meet a diverse and energetic group of students along with engaged parents. No day is the same – but all are meaningful.

Salary and Employment

We offer a part-time position with an employment rate of 80%, corresponding to about 29.6 hours per week, with expected start no later than January 1, 2027 . Salary and conditions in accordance with applicable collective agreement and local pre-agreement.

HR will obtain a criminal record check and a child protection certificate for applicants who are offered the job. It is a prerequisite for employment that the criminal record check and the child protection certificate meet the requirements for the position. The assessment is made by the Legal Office.
