We are seeking OBU test advisors and part-time instructors for VVC - School for Adults

Do you have experience with dyslexia testing – and are you passionate about helping both Danish- and multilingual adults progress through testing, guidance and teaching?

And do you have the skills to give them the tools that can strengthen their daily lives, both at home, at school and at work? Then you might be the one we are looking for.

About the position

VVC – School for Adults is seeking a part-time OBU test advisor and instructor who can both conduct dyslexia tests and teach adults with dyslexia.

Your tasks will include, among others, to

• conduct the Danish Dyslexia Test (DOT) for bilinguals
• conduct the national dyslexia test both in person and online
• identify and assess citizens' reading and writing difficulties and develop learning plans
• provide guidance on the results and relevant options after the test
• teach adults with dyslexia both in person and online
• design instruction based on the individual student's needs and abilities
• work with relevant reading and writing technologies (LST)
• be responsible for necessary follow-up, documentation and administration
• collaborate with VVC’s other teachers and staff

Teaching and testing take place primarily at VVC in Albertslund, online and as needed at our partner organizations.

You will have the opportunity to tailor the teaching to meet learners where they are – with a focus on security, motivation and academic development.

• are a qualified OBU test advisor and have experience conducting the DOT
• have experience with and continue to want to teach adults with dyslexia
• master LST: You are familiar with assistive technologies such as AppWriter, IntoWords or similar technologies.
• are comfortable teaching both in person and online
• have knowledge of relevant reading and writing technologies
• can create a safe and motivating learning environment
• meet learners respectfully and at eye level
• work independently and in a structured manner – and at the same time value professional sparring
