Your new everyday life

You will, together with the rest of the occupational health and safety team, be a central driving force and coordinator on the occupational health area in the Region of Southern Denmark. The team consists of 6 occupational health consultants who in daily work closely cooperate across functions – and are always curious about each other and the world around them.

This requires you to navigate safely in a large and complex public organization.

In addition, you will be responsible for planning the regional occupational health conference – from contact to speakers to the development of the program – and ensuring that the conference supports the region's approach to occupational health work.

You will also contribute to developing other targeted initiatives for well-being and the broad occupational health environment – at operational, tactical and strategic levels.

Finally, it will be a central task for you to prepare case documents and decision proposals for the management and the MED system, so there is a solid, well-founded basis for the strategic discussions and decisions in the field of occupational health.

Who are you?

You have experience from a large organization. In addition to a solid occupational health professional foundation, you have experience in driving complex projects and initiatives.

You have a strong relational understanding, and invite with your curiosity, knowledge and interest to trust and cooperation internally as well as across units and professions. We therefore expect you to be proactive and take control, while being proactive and inclusive in the task solution.

Additionally, you naturally operate at all levels in the organization, where you have an understanding of practice, but at the same time the ability to think strategically.

We also expect that

  • You are structured and focused on both process and result
  • You are good at identifying development potential, and have an eye for what creates value
  • You thrive and navigate well in a daily life with changing tasks and an element of unpredictability
  • You have strong communication skills in both written and spoken form, and are able to translate your professional knowledge into paper in a language that reaches stakeholders

We work across disciplines and readily use each other for sparring in daily work, and we also have a relaxed and unpretentious tone with room for humor and smiles – even in a busy everyday life. We place emphasis on professional and personal development, and focus on creating a good balance between private life and work life. We, among other things, have the possibility of remote work.
