About the job
Do you have good collaboration and communication skills and an eye for finance? Then you could be our new colleague in Finance and Procurement.
Many think that working with finance is about being good with numbers. It is. But with us it is at least as important to be able to create dialogue and collaboration with others.
Would you like to learn new things and work with finance and procurement across a municipality, and do you have the courage to ask questions and collaborate with many different people? Then you could be the colleague we are looking for.
We are seeking a financial consultant for our Finance and Procurement Department as part of the central staff function, where we work closely to support the organization’s finances and procurement. Experience can be an advantage, but the most important for us is your curiosity, motivation and desire to develop yourself and contribute to a strong professional community.
We are ready to welcome you
Here you will become part of an experienced working community with 13 skilled colleagues, where we help each other and share responsibility for the tasks. We know that you learn best through collaboration, sparring and by being allowed to test your professional skills.
Therefore we are ready to share our experiences, help you get started and support you in your professional development.
You will work with independent tasks, but you will never stand alone.
At the same time you will have the opportunity to build broad experience within the finance and procurement area, and together we will determine which tasks and professional areas best fit your strengths and interests.
We offer you
- a strong professional community with skilled and helpful colleagues spread across several teams, where we place great emphasis on collaboration and a good social community across the teams.
- thorough onboarding and ongoing sparring with opportunities for learning, responsibility and professional development
- a workplace where we practise and want to learn from our mistakes and speak openly and constructively about the best solutions to the tasks
- a daily life with cross-disciplinary collaboration and stakeholders
- a workplace where your ideas and perspectives are welcome.
Your tasks
You will work with tasks within both finance and procurement. Your primary tasks will among other things be to:
- support the municipality’s digital procurement through user support, training and guidance
- maintain catalogs and contribute to ensuring the municipality’s procurement agreements are used correctly
- advise on contracts, procurement agreements and appropriate procurement behavior
- solve finance and accounting tasks, including reconciliations, follow-up and quality assurance
- convey financial knowledge and guidance to colleagues and partners, among others as part of internal financial support in the municipality
- contribute to the development and streamlining of workflows, systems and processes
- collaboration across departments and disciplines in the municipality
The final task portfolio will be tailored to your qualifications and experience as well as the department's overall tasks.
We imagine that you
- are interested in finance, digitised procurement and administrative tasks
- have a relevant educational background in finance, accounting, administration or procurement
- are proactive and take initiative to dialogue when a task requires it
- are community-oriented and contribute with positive energy and good collaboration
It does not matter how much experience you have. We place greater weight on your motivation, curiosity and desire to develop yourself.
About the job
Permanent employment at 37 hours per week under the collective agreement. The primary workplace is the Town Hall in Ebeltoft, but there may be meeting days at the Town Hall in Hornslet. There is a possibility of 1-2 days of home working per week.
