About the job

Operators for the quality control department

Can you spot the details, enjoy working in a structured way and do you have a flair for numbers? Then you might be the one we are looking for!

At BIRN in Holstebro we work with large quantities of iron, high demands and precision down to the smallest detail. We are looking for operators for both day and evening shifts in our quality control department, where you will play a central role in ensuring that our castings meet customers' requirements and expectations.

Because when the quality has to be top, it is the details that count - and here your efforts make a difference.

Your daily life in the quality control department

You will become part of a team that checks and quality assures our products before they are sent on to customers. Your tasks will include sorting, inspecting and documenting castings using different measurement methods, including ultrasonic and hardness measurements as well as visual inspection.

You will have a versatile daily life, working with different workpieces and measurements, recording results and ensuring that everything meets the technical requirements.

It requires both meticulousness, structure and the ability to keep an overview. In return, you will become an important part of the quality work that helps make BIRN one of Europe’s leading foundries.

Who are you?

We imagine that you

  • Have a flair for numbers and IT and are comfortable working with registrations and data
  • Thrive with various tasks and can adapt when needs change
  • Are thorough, structured and have an eye for detail
  • Take responsibility for your tasks and care about delivering good work
  • Are a good colleague who contributes to collaboration and a good working environment
  • Are reliable and engaged
  • Can speak and read Danish

If you have experience from the metal industry, that is an advantage, but not a requirement. The most important is that you want to learn and are willing to immerse yourself in new tasks. We will of course provide thorough onboarding so you are well prepared for the job.

What can you look forward to at BIRN?

We place emphasis on integrity, well-being and good collegial relations. With us you get a workplace where your effort matters and where we lift tasks together.

We offer you

  • A good working environment with focus on well-being and integrity
  • PFA health insurance
  • Opportunity to enjoy a tasty and varied meal in our canteen (employee payment)
  • Good and well-organized working conditions

Working hours

Day shift

  • Monday to Thursday 06:30 - 14:40 and Friday 06:30 - 14:10

Evening shift

  • Monday to Thursday: 14:40 - 00:30
