The position is 32-37 hours per week with the possibility to adjust hours according to your wishes.

About Elverhøj

Børnehuset Elverhøj is located in lovely rural surroundings in Ågerup , in the northeast part of Roskilde, with, among other things, forest, fields, a small town square, and the local library within walking distance. The kindergarten consists of two preschool groups and one baby group. We have a playground with rich opportunities for expression, where you can help shape our daily life. Our indoor spaces offer rooms with adjacent side rooms in the kindergarten, as well as a adjacent open-plan room in the baby unit. The kitchen offers hot and cold dishes made from fresh ingredients by our skilled kitchen staff.

We practice a clear daily structure , as well as division into smaller groups . In this way we can create clarity and predictability for both children and adults.

Our approach is based on a resource-oriented view of children , where we focus on the idea that children do well if they can. This means that we adults must be proactive, approach the task with curiosity and adjust our practice – perhaps we should take a step back and see the world through the child’s eyes, or find a new way that works better. We believe in clarity, care and presence that helps children blossom.

We place high value on close and professional parent cooperation and we see parents as important sparring partners regarding their children.

Start on 1 December 2026 or as soon as possible.
