With us, sport is part of the pedagogy

We use play, sport and movement to create development, well-being and strong child communities. Our sports profile is not about running the fastest or scoring the most goals, but about joy of movement and about giving children courage and motivation to explore, challenge themselves and gain experiences together with others.

A ball game can be an opportunity to practice cooperation and taking turns. A tumbling game can give experiences of sensing one’s own and others’ boundaries. And a tag game can be adapted along the way so that even the child who holds back a little gets the desire to participate.

Movement is therefore not only a planned activity in the multisport hall. It is a natural part of our everyday life, both indoors and outdoors, in adult-guided activities and in the games that arise from the children’s initiative. We make room for both high pulse, immersion and calm and adapt the challenges to the children’s different prerequisites.

We are an integrated day care with room for 78 infants and 125 kindergarten children. With a multisport hall, interactive floor and good outdoor areas, we have versatile premises. It is our pedagogical choice and commitment that gives them value.

You are part of the play

With us you do not just stand on the sideline and set activities in motion. You participate, follow the children’s initiatives and use your professional knowledge to open the play to more. This may mean adjusting a rule, changing the difficulty or stepping in front and showing how you can participate.

At the same time you create close relationships and security throughout the day – also in the cloakroom, at meals and in the transition from one situation to the next.

Together with your colleagues you plan, implement and evaluate the pedagogical practice. You explore what your choices mean for the children, and adjust when something calls for another approach. You also contribute to an open and trusting collaboration with parents about the child’s everyday life, well-being and development.

You will gain a community to grow in

You will become part of a collegial community where we share observations, ask questions and help each other. Management is close to practice and available in daily life, and we prioritize clear organization so that staff resources are used close to the children.

Through professional practice rooms, feedback and sparring you will have the opportunity to develop your pedagogical and sports-related competencies. Perhaps you come with an interest in dance, ball games, outdoor life or something completely different that can inspire us. Your ideas are welcome, and there is room to test them and learn from the experiences together.

What do you bring?

You meet the children with care and clarity and can translate professional considerations into action. You take responsibility, collaborate respectfully and dare to share your perspectives and be challenged by others.

You do not need to master a specific sport. Instead you should want to use your body in your work and bring your own joy of movement into play.

Salary and employment terms: Employment is according to the applicable collective agreement. The statutory base salary is 34,662.78 DKK per month plus pension. There may be an opportunity to negotiate qualification supplements based on relevant experience and competencies.
