Daycare Svenstrup, Ridemandsmøllevej Kindergarten is seeking an educator for 37 hours per week from 1 December 2026 or as soon as possible thereafter. Ridemandsmøllevej Kindergarten is normed for 40 children and is located in the small local community of Godthåb, about 13 km southwest of Aalborg.

In our daily work we have a special focus on creating safety, presence and predictability for all children. We are committed to ensuring that everyone feels part of a community, as it strengthens the child’s self-perception, self-esteem and self-confidence. We value being outdoors in nature, as it inspires and stimulates children's senses.

With a combined focus on safe communities and nature, we manage to create learning environments for children where they wonder and are motivated to explore nature together with other meaningful children and adults.

We are looking for an engaged and present educator who is passionate about supporting children's play and views space as the third educator. With us you will have the opportunity to work in a kindergarten where the child's perspective, participation and curiosity are central elements in everyday life.

Your tasks

• Create safe, structured and predictable learning environments with close adults who support children's development.
• Plan and implement pedagogical activities based on ICDP’s core principles and the strengthened curricula – all day.
• Work with a basis in NEST, to ensure all children's participation opportunities.
• Support children's play and use both indoor and outdoor spaces as active learning environments.
• Engage in professional collaboration where respect, communication, professionalism and humor are the foundation.
• Work with documentation, evaluation and openness as important tools, and make practice visible to colleagues, children and parents.
• Be an active part of our outdoor life, where we see nature's potentials as resources in children's learning and well-being.

The position is covered by local salary. Other employment terms according to the current agreement between KL and Bupl. Prior to final employment, criminal and child protection checks will be conducted.
