About the job

Are you eager to use your pedagogical expertise both in school and in the after-school program (SFO) and help create safe environments for children's learning, well-being and sense of community?

At Fløng School you get a varied everyday life, where you follow the children through the day. You will become an important part of both teaching and after-school life and have the opportunity to put your own mark on activities and communities.

You follow the children through the day

As a pedagogue with us you work closely with teachers, pedagogues and other professions to create the best conditions for the children.

In the school you contribute with your pedagogical expertise and help the children participate in the teaching and the community. You are a present adult who can create structure, good relationships and secure transitions between the days activities. You have an eye for both the individual childs needs and for the community as a whole.

When the school day ends, you continue in SFO Kæret, where there is room for play, creativity, movement and good experiences together with the children. Here you get the opportunity to create activities that strengthen relationships, curiosity and community.

In SFO Kæret there is room for ideas

We want to create an SFO that the children look forward to being part of. Therefore there is also room for you to bring your interests and competencies into play.

Perhaps you are passionate about sport and movement, creative workshops, music, outdoor life, gaming or something entirely other. The most important thing is that you want to engage with the children and create activities that give them good experiences and a desire to participate.

We have good facilities and attractive outdoor areas, which provide many opportunities to work with both shared activities and smaller communities. At the same time you help create the calm and safety that some children need during the day. You meet the children with humor, presence and clarity and see diversity as a strength.

We succeed best when we do it together

At Fløng School and in SFO Kæret, collaboration is an important part of everyday life. We believe that the children get the best opportunities to develop when the adults around them work closely together and actively use each others professional competences.

You will become part of an engaged staff group with good humor, professional curiosity and a shared wish to create good days for the children. We prioritise sparring, knowledge sharing and joint solutions, and you will experience leadership that is close to everyday life and cares about both employees and practice.

You get a good start

Whether you are newly qualified or have many years of experience, we make an effort to ensure you get off to a good start.

You will have a structured onboarding program, a buddy from day one and ongoing sparring with colleagues and management. We want you to quickly feel welcome and become part of both the professional and social community.

We hope that you

  • are a trained pedagogue
  • are good at building relationships with children
  • want to work across school and after-school care
  • can create participation opportunities and inclusive communities
  • take the initiative and contribute your own ideas
  • thrive in close collaboration with colleagues and other professions
  • have interests or competences you would like to bring into play together with the children.

What you get with us

  • a varied day across school and SFO
  • opportunity to follow the children through the day
