Educator for an upcoming school group at Børnehuset Himmelbjerget

About the job At Børnehuset Himmelbjerget we are seeking a dedicated educator for an exciting new role where you will play a central part in establishing our new school group.

From January 1, we will gather all upcoming schoolchildren into a fixed group every day. The aim is to create a strong learning environment where the children develop the competencies that give them the best possible start to school life. You, together with your colleagues, will have the opportunity to shape the group’s organization, learning environments, activities and structure from the very beginning and follow the children all the way to the start of school in August.

The position involves both the daily pedagogical organization of the group and close collaboration with the school, nature guide and our transition project.

Børnehuset Himmelbjerget is a large day care with a special focus on nature, outdoor life and science.

We go on trips every week, where the children explore nature, the local environment and the world around them. Our trips draw on current themes and the children's curiosity.

Every summer the kindergarten moves for a week into the forest to Bistrup Hus, our attached nature house. Here we work closely with our nature guide, who is also an important part of the transition project to the school.

In the house we have good facilities, including a specially designed science room, where the children can work with robots, coding, technology and scientific experiments.

Terms of employment The position is basically full-time with start on 1/12-26. Employment is in accordance with the applicable collective agreement.
