We are looking for an engaged, present and playful educator or pedagogical assistant for our nursery. The position is 30-37 hours per week with start date December 1st or as soon as possible.

Who are we?

Børnehuset Troldhøj is an integrated 0-6 year institution with 65-70 children distributed across two kindergarten groups and a large nursery group.

We are part of Dagtilbud Vest, which consists of nine kindergartens, resource groups, pedagogical advisors and a shared day-care leader. At the same time, we have our own pedagogical leader in the house, which ensures close leadership.

What characterizes Troldhøj

At Troldhøj we value diversity and community. We meet every child as a unique individual while consciously supporting positive child communities and secure relationships.

We are trained in ICDP and the Circle of Security and our pedagogical practice is built on presence, reflection and professionalism. The child groups are often divided into smaller play and activity groups, and we work consciously to create good play and learning environments both outdoors and indoors.

We collaborate closely across the house and place particular emphasis on a safe transition from nursery to kindergarten.

• Is present, clear and relationally strong
• Participates actively in the children’s play and is aware of the play’s importance for children’s well-being, development and formation
• Can maintain a focus on the core task.
• Is flexible, proactive and adaptable in a often busy and unpredictable daily life.
• Has knowledge of ICDP and the Circle of Security or a desire to be trained in them.
• Prioritizes close and trustful parent collaboration, where you are aware of your responsibility for the collaboration.
• Is a team player who contributes positively to the community
