Are you a presence-driven, professional and engaged educator who is passionate about creating safe and developmental environments for the youngest children? Then you may be our new colleague in the nursery at Sandlyng Børnehus.

In Sandlyng Børnehus we work from a holistic view of childhood, where relationships, well-being and play are the focus. We base ourselves on mentalization-based approaches, where understanding of one's own and others' feelings, intentions and perspectives is a central part of the pedagogical work. This means that we focus on meeting each child where they are, emotionally, socially and developmentally.

As a pedagogue in Sandlyng Børnehus you will be part of a team in professional development, and where collaboration and professional reflection are a high priority. You should be good at structuring and creating a predictable day for the children but at the same time help create room for play, imagination and spontaneity. You will have the opportunity to bring your professional skills into play and to contribute to developing our pedagogical practices based on Sorø Municipality's 10 milestones.

We are seeking you who

• Are trained as a pedagogue
• Can create calm, presence and good routines for the youngest, also when everyday busyness hits us.
• Would like to engage in close collaboration with colleagues and parents
• Have experience with documentation and written work
• Have an interest in or experience with mentalization-based pedagogy

Employment terms

Salary in accordance with the applicable collective agreement and the rules for new pay. Upon employment, an extended criminal record check and a child protection clearance are requested.
