Educators for the nursery at Børnehuset Hørgården – a children's house with presence, care and professionally developing communities

Would you like to be an educator in a daycare house where presence, care and professionally developing learning communities are in place?

Then you are the one we are looking for for our toddlers.

Børnehuset Hørgården is a small institution with three toddler groups and two preschool groups. With us there are fewer children in the groups and more adults per child in daily life.

We have the best playground with plenty of green, big trees and plants. We are close to Amager Fælled and green areas with small city gardens and wildlife. Inside we have new, well-designed and exciting learning environments, where we immerse ourselves and play with the children in smaller, planned groups.

We are committed to the Circle of Security as the basis for our pedagogical work. Developing learning environments for the children is a central part of their everyday life. We work with competence packages, where we apply the principles from 'space and learning' to create frameworks that support children's communities and play, well-being and development.

We view outdoor life as a development space for the children. Therefore we often stay on our well-designed and large natural playground, where we both play, eat and plant in our herb gardens. We are close to green areas, where we take long walks or cycle out into nature with packed lunches.

We have a close and well-functioning collaboration with parents, where we experience happy and secure parents.

We are part of Amager Cluster C, which consists of a total of six institutions. In the cluster we have joint events with, among others, presentations from professionals with the latest professional knowledge. We hold network meetings across the cluster, where coordinators from the individual units meet in the work with, among other things, language development, and have a pedagogical committee focused on pedagogical development work from the units as well as a network for student teachers and supervisors.

Børnehuset Hørgården is located close to DR Byen, where it is easy to get to by metro and bus. We have free parking.

Employment terms

The positions are 37 hours per week or as agreed. We wish for you to start in January 2027, but preferably earlier by agreement. Salary and terms of employment according to the applicable collective agreement and within the framework of local pay formation. In connection with the hires we will obtain child and criminal record checks and take references.
