We are seeking two trained pedagogues or pedagogical assistants who want to bring professionalism, curiosity and presence into play in a daily life full of nature, movement, play and good relationships. A place you want to come to.

In Troldehøj, nature is an active part of the children's everyday life. We pick up the children at Stengade in Nørrebro and drive together to our outreach kindergarten in Lyngby, where a large outdoor area frames the day's experiences.

Here there are chestnut trees, fruit trees, berry bushes and a small herb garden, inviting to play, immersion and joint investigations. We follow the changing seasons, explore nature and give space for children to be curious, experiment and experience the world with all their senses.

Our children's group is diverse, and we work purposefully so that all children feel they are meaningful participants in the community. For us, a good kindergarten day is about both big experiences and small moments where a child is seen, met and helped into play.

Relationships, safety and a calm nervous system

The good pedagogical work begins in the relationship. We are focused on how our interaction with the children affects their well-being, development and opportunities to participate in the community.

We believe that children thrive best when they meet adults who are present, clear and emotionally available. Therefore we emphasize that you can stay calm, even when everyday life is unpredictable, and help create structure, recognizability and clear frames around the children.

At the same time we want colleagues who are curious about their own practice, dare to ask questions and want to reflect together with others on how we best help the children succeed.

Body and movement – every day

In Troldehøj the body is part of most of what we do. The children balance on logs, dig in the ground, climb, run on explorations and explore nature. We adults participate actively, follow the children's initiatives and help create frameworks for both courage, mastery and new experiences.

We see body and movement as an important part of the children's development. When children have the opportunity to feel their own bodies, challenge themselves and experience the joy of movement, it also strengthens their understanding of their own and others’ boundaries.

If you have ideas for movement games, sensory experiences or activities in nature, we would love to hear them. With us there is room to bring your interests and competencies into play and help develop our pedagogical daily life.

We prioritise professional development and continuing education because we want to be a place where both children and staff keep learning.

You will have the opportunity to develop your competencies in areas such as nature and outdoor life or body and movement. We are also interested in hearing what you yourself are passionate about, and which professional areas you want to deepen. We are happy to discuss this already at the job interview.

You do not need to be an expert in everything. The most important thing is that you want to be an active part of the children's everyday life, contribute to the community and develop yourself together with us.

Practical information

The positions are for permanent hire at 35-37 hours per week. Workplace is Troldehøj, Joannas Outreach Kindergarten in Lyngby. Start: as soon as possible or by agreement.

Salary and employment terms

Salary and employment terms according to the applicable collective agreement and within the framework of local wage formation. We obtain children’s and criminal background checks and take references in connection with employment.
