About us

Klokkefrøen is a nature-focused kindergarten housed on a fantastic nature plot in Pjedsted, 8 km from Fredericia. Here we give children the opportunity for daily nature experiences, where their senses are stimulated, attention is strengthened, and motor skills develop. We see nature as an invaluable framework for community, language development, and learning about ethics and responsibility towards the environment. Klokkefrøen is part of the Ullerupbæk district, which consists of several municipal institutions.

You will become part of a larger pedagogical leadership team, characterized by high professionalism, curiosity about your own and colleagues' practices, room for diversity and willingness to help across.

We base ourselves on the municipality's Policy for Children, Youth and Education "Everyday, friendship and gusts of wind" and the strategy "A safe start to life".

In addition, we have shared municipal guiding principles such as well-being, linguistic emphasis, mathematical emphasis and the competencies of the future.

We are seeking a pedagogical leader who is conscious of leadership quality, which supports learning environments of high quality, high job satisfaction and good parent collaboration.

You must be a clear and visible leader who cherishes a professionally competent pedagogical team with understanding of being employed in a politically led organization.

As a pedagogical leader with us we expect that you

• work pedagogically with a focus on well-being, learning, development and formation of children aged 0-6 years
• set a clear course so employees know what is expected of them, and what they can expect from you
• are credible in word and action
• are visible and good at ensuring a work environment based on trust, high communication and information – and presence in your leadership style
• are humble about your own position in collaboration with both employees, parents and other partners
• have an eye for integrating the general with the special education, including ensuring a pedagogical capacity that supports children in vulnerable positions
• can work in a structured, systematic and follow-up manner with both operational and development-oriented tasks.

In the administrative area you should be able to

• work in different systems with support from the district's administrative staff
• work data-driven in Rambølls Hjernen og Hjertet – both in relation to the strengthened curriculum and the pedagogical oversight.

Your professional and personal profile

• You have a "drive" for present and acknowledging pedagogy
• You are pedagogy-trained and have experience in leadership
• You hold a Diploma in Leadership or are in the process of pursuing one
• You possess initiative and decisiveness
• You are an engaged, empathetic and enthusiastic role model
• You can lead from the front and show courage – even when it gets tough
• You are a team player who can give and receive feedback
• You are systematic and goal-oriented in your task solving
• You are proficient in writing and speaking.
• You possess basic IT skills to solve administrative tasks
• You approach tasks with good motivation and high work discipline.

You should see yourself as part of a larger context and understand that your daily leadership work must reflect Fredericia Municipality's Policy for Children, Youth and Education as well as the municipal strategies and focus areas. In addition, you should be willing to work in a 0-18 year perspective across our district.

We offer an exciting leadership role where you become part of a well-functioning leadership team, where openness and helpfulness are a natural part of the team. You will receive a good introduction and instruction as well as ongoing 1:1 sparring with the district leader and a collegial mentor.

Salary and employment conditions

In accordance with the applicable collective agreement between KL and the negotiating organization.

Child certificate

In employment that includes work with children and young people, a child certificate will be obtained. Employment is conditional on that a child certificate can be obtained without notes.

This is a full-time position.

Start date 1 November 2026 or as soon as possible thereafter.
