🌟 Pedagogical staff member for Birkestuen – would you like to be a part of Langekær?

We have said goodbye to our faithful pedagogical assistant – fortunately for the very best reason: she has decided to pursue even more pedagogy and has started on the teacher education program. 💛

Therefore we now need a new colleague working 37 hours at Birkestuen , where 12 lovely toddlers in the toddler room and two experienced colleagues look forward to welcoming you.

We are open to both you who are a trained pedagogue and you who would like to work as a pedagogue assistant. The most important for us is not your title – but who you are, what you bring, and that you want to create a really good everyday life for our children.

You who want to sit on the floor, join in the play, sing the same song for the 117th time and at the same time be curious about, why we do what we do – and whether we can do it even better.

🏡 Who are we?

Langekær Childcare House is a childcare house with two toddler groups and two kindergarten groups.

We are a house with high professionalism, but also room for laughter, wacky ideas and different perspectives. We believe that good pedagogical quality is created together – and that it is always the adults who are responsible for adjusting the framework when a child needs something different.

With us we work among other things with small groups, clear adult positioning, structure, visual support and ongoing evaluation of our pedagogical practice .

We want to develop ourselves. Even when something already works well.

Therefore we are looking for a colleague who wants to be involved in new things, ask questions, try things out and with us be curious about:

We are also an education house and have pedagogy students with us on an ongoing basis. It matters to us to be a place where you can learn – whether you are a student, a new employee or have been in the field for 20 years.

🌳 Everyday life at Langekær

We use our playground and local surroundings a lot and are outdoors year-round.

We work with shared themes and annual cycles, but we do not believe in pedagogy that exists only in an activity plan. The pedagogy also lives in the cloakroom, at the lunch table, at the changing table, in the sandbox and in the moment when a child needs a grown-up to sit down.

And we are one house . You will be employed at Birkestuen, but you will be colleagues with the whole Langekær.

You do not need to know it all in advance.

You must want the children, the community and to develop yourself together with us.

In return we promise that you will be warmly welcomed by experienced colleagues who are happy to share their knowledge – and who also want to hear what you bring to the table.

The position is 37 hours per week with start on January 1, 2027.

Salaries and terms of employment are in accordance with the applicable collective agreement.
