Pedagogical assistant in a permanent full-time position for a special education unit at Stouby School

We are looking for an engaged, robust and caring pedagogical assistant in a permanent full-time position, who can help create a safe and developing everyday life for our students.

About the job and tasks

As a pedagogical assistant, you will become an important part of a dedicated team, where we support the students in their daily learning, activities and development. We place emphasis on an appreciative approach, where you meet the students with respect and understanding and can see behind their behaviour while maintaining a calm nervous system and being curious about your own and others' position in challenging situations.

Salary and terms of employment

Salary and employment according to the applicable collective agreement, with the possibility to negotiate qualification and job-based pay.

The position is a permanent full-time position starting December 1, 2026.

About us

We are part of Hedensted Municipality's special classes range for children and young people with socio-emotional difficulties. We place high value on well-being and development, both academically and personally, and work systemically to understand and support students' unique challenges in a holistic perspective. From December 1, we have 18 students, with an expectation that we will grow further in the coming years. We are located at Stouby School, a school with about 120 students, and prioritize being a large part of Stouby School to the extent that the individual student is able to manage.
