Then read on here; The integrated self-owned daycare institution The Flying Trunk, under the umbrella organization Børneringen, is seeking a pedagogy assistant for our kindergarten group Moon.

The Flying Trunk's kindergarten group Moon is normed for 20 children aged 2-6 years. Moon's premises are located in our house on the ground floor with good facilities inside and outside, as well as a good location close to Lergravsparken metro station, Amager Strandpark and good nearby playgrounds.

With us, professionalism, community and inclusivity are highly valued. We have a high professional awareness, where we involve the children and where every single child feels seen and heard. Everyone has a meaningful value in our community. Our daily life in the room bears the marks of fixed routines and frameworks, which means that the children and we adults know what we shall do during the day. We are inspired by following the child’s path (Reggio Emilia), and we often work with pedagogical processes in smaller age-divided groups. It provides presence and opportunities for immersion.

We are a house with high ceilings. We are curious, exploratory and guiding to children, parents and colleagues.

It is a shared responsibility that the house is a nice place to come for everyone, and we have great influence over our daily life and work.

We offer a workplace with a good working environment, where your room colleagues as well as the manager ensure that you are properly inducted into the tasks and supported and guided. Your two room colleagues have many years of pedagogical experience.

We love a good laugh in everyday life, and we value a good tone of voice and a pleasant atmosphere in the room.

We are looking for a colleague who;

• Is reliable and engaged in their work
• Can build relationships with the children in the room while being a clear adult
• Can maintain an overview, even in busy situations
• Has a sense of the day’s routines and the children’s initiatives and can take initiative themselves
• Can work independently; e.g., conceive and initiate pedagogical activities with a group of children
• Values close collaboration highly and can compromise
• Engages in daily dialogue with the parents in the room
• Has humor and is easy to laugh
• Has experience within the daycare sector, preferably kindergarten
