Pedagogical Assistant at Bolderslev Children's House

Would you like to help create a safe everyday life with presence, play and good child communities? Do you want to follow the children's initiatives and be an active adult in their everyday life? Then you may be one of our new colleagues.

We are looking for three pedagogical aides for positions of 37 hours per week each. Two positions are in the toddler unit, and one position is in the kindergarten.

You will have your primary affiliation in either the toddler unit or the kindergarten, but you must be able to work with the entire age group 0–6 years and flexibly participate in cross-house collaboration.

About Bolderslev Børnehus

Bolderslev Børnehus is an age-integrated day care institution in Aabenraa Municipality with a toddler unit and a kindergarten in two houses on the same plot.

We work with secure relationships and communities where all children should feel they belong. We divide the children into smaller groups so there is room for presence and to base on each child's needs and development.

Play, language and communication are central focus areas for us. We are concerned with how we as adults support the children's play and create good participation opportunities throughout the day.

Your tasks will include

• create safe and caring relationships with the children
• participate actively in play and activities both indoors and outdoors
• support the children's language, independence and participation in the community
• contribute to calm and presence in daily routines
• collaborate with colleagues on planning and implementing pedagogical activities
• contribute to open and respectful parental cooperation
• participate in everyday practical tasks.

We are looking for someone who

• wants to work as a pedagogical aide
• wants to and can work with children across the entire age group 0–6 years
• meets children with warmth, patience and clarity
• can take initiative while following the children's lead
• is curious about children's perspectives and willing to learn
• takes responsibility and contributes to collaboration across the toddler unit and the kindergarten
• can maintain overview and be present in a daily life with many different tasks.

Salary and employment terms

Salary and employment terms are set according to the applicable collective agreement. The positions are 37 hours. One of them is desired to be filled on 1 December 2026. We would like to point out that before employment, a child and criminal record check will be obtained, and that the employment will be conditional on these being satisfactory.
