Pedagogical assistants wanted at Børnehuset Nyrup

Are you passionate about making a difference for children aged 0–6, and do you thrive in a lively and curious everyday life? Then it might be you we are looking for at Børnehuset Nyrup!

We are currently experiencing a wonderful influx of new, curious children and their families in the building. To ensure that we can continue to uphold the good and safe childhood, the close care work, and the small, safe playgroups in daily life, we need more hands. Therefore we are now expanding our fixed team with engaged pedagogy assistants who will help give our growing group the very best start in life.

We are seeking engaged, present and appreciative pedagogy assistants for our integrated institution as soon as possible. There are two full-time positions (37 hours per week):

• A permanent position in the kindergarten
• A fixed-term position in the nursery until 31 July 2027 with possibility of extension.

We are based in the charming old rural village school in Kvistgård, which gives our institution a very special soul and atmosphere. Our physical premises invite both exploration and immersion; we have our very own gym hall where children can tumble and move on rainy days, and outside we have several cozy gardens. The gardens are arranged with small nooks and green areas, which provide ample opportunities for educational activities outdoors as well as safe and inspiring play for both older and younger children.

We are seeking assistants who

• Meet all children with warmth, curiosity and acknowledgement.
• Want to be active in everyday life – both on the playground, on trips in the local area and on the floor at child height.
• Take co-responsibility for the practical tasks that naturally accompany a daily routine in a daycare institution (meals, tidying, diaper changes, etc.).
• Are stable, flexible and contribute positively to our already good working environment.
• Are good colleagues who communicate openly and positively with both children, parents and colleagues.

Salary and terms of employment

Salary and terms of employment are in accordance with the current collective agreement between FOA and KL. Helsingør Municipality always obtains an enhanced criminal record check and a child-safety clearance before final employment.
