Part-time bookkeeper wanted for Odense Aafart

We want to bring our accounting in-house and therefore seek an experienced and independent bookkeeper who can ensure structure, overview and timely follow-up on the finances in our seasonal business.

The position can either be a part-time employment or a collaboration with an independent bookkeeper.

Your primary tasks

• Ongoing bookkeeping and reconciliation
• Accounts payable management and payment of invoices
• VAT reconciliation and VAT reporting
• Payroll processing and payroll reporting
• Calculation and reporting of payroll tax
• Follow-up and ongoing financial overview
• Preparation of material for the annual accounts in collaboration with our auditor

Scope and working hours

Odense Aafart is a seasonal business, and the workload varies over the year.

In the summer period we expect about one day per week. In the winter period the need will typically be a few hours per week. There will be extra hours in connection with VAT reporting and preparation for the annual accounts.

We agree on flexible working hours, and you will have the opportunity to work from home. However, we would also like you to come to us in Munke Mose as needed.

• Have solid experience with bookkeeping, VAT and payroll
• Work in a structured, thorough and independent manner
• Meet deadlines and follow tasks through to completion
• Can create an overview and make the finances understandable for us
• Thrive in a smaller company where the season affects both tempo and workload
• Ideally have experience with payroll tax, but it is not a requirement

About Odense Aafart

Odense Aafart is much more than the classic boat tour on the Odense River. We operate sightseeing cruises, events, private events, kayak rental and pedal boats. The business has a clear peak season in the summer and a quieter winter period.
