Part-time car detailing assistant – give the cars a nice finish

Can you like to take initiative and see the result of your work? Do you have an eye for the details that make a car appear clean and well maintained? At Byens Bilpleje we are looking for a detailing assistant on a part-time basis, who will help ready our customers' cars for the road.

Byens Bilpleje.com is one of Denmark's largest players within cosmetic detailing, automotive painting, dent repair, rust protection and replacement of auto glass. Our first department was founded in Vejle in 1997, and today we handle more than 200,000 cars a year and have more than 400 employees in Denmark.

You will be an important part of a growing company, where we work every day to be the car owner's preferred partner. We do this by creating value for our customers through efficiency, quality and flexibility.

You will be part of the team that ensures both new and used cars are delivered with a great result. Here thoroughness and attention to detail are an important part of the job - whether the car is to be washed, polished or cleaned inside.

Your tasks will include

• Preparation of new and used cars
• Exterior washing as well as interior cleaning and vacuuming
• Defoliering and polishing
• Inspection and quality control of vehicles
• Other practical tasks related to car preparation
• You will have an active daily routine with different tasks and colleagues who work together to deliver a good result.

You are thorough and ready to roll up your sleeves

You do not need to have previous experience with car preparation. The most important is that you are eager to learn, show up reliably and take responsibility for your tasks. You can work independently and are happy to lend a hand when a colleague needs help.

We expect that you

• Have knowledge of washing, polishing and defoiling or are motivated to learn it
• Preferably have experience with car preparation, but it is not a requirement
• Have a valid B driver's license and be a seasoned motorist
• Can read and understand work descriptions
• Have basic IT skills
• Can communicate in either Danish or English
• Are punctual, thorough and prepared for practical work

Working hours and opening hours

The department's opening hours are Monday to Friday 07.00-15.00. The exact placement of your working hours will be agreed upon.
