Part-time Driver

15-hour driver position, sought as soon as possible for Tengslemark Specialtilbud, which is a § 83 treatment offer for children aged 0-7 years, with extensive physical and/or mental functional impairments.

As an employee at Tengslemark, you will be part of a professionally strong and well-functioning staff team, consisting of you, two other drivers, special educators and PAs, Theraplay specialist, occupational therapist, physiotherapist and speech therapists.

We interact in a jovial tone and together we ensure that Tengslemark is a fantastic workplace, with children's well-being, development and learning in focus. As a driver at Tengslemark, you are the link between home and institution, which will require that you are both caring and calm by nature, while flexibly and responsibly contributing to solving our shared core task.

Can you work independently and at the same time participate in the interdisciplinary collaboration around the children, be receptive to guidance and can understand translating technical instructions into practice and be attentive during driving? Then you are exactly who we need!

You are naturally approachable, trust-building and good at making contact with both children and adults as the daily link between home and the institution.

You must be able to show a valid B driving license and preferably D. In addition you must be able to show a clean child and criminal record. Experience in driving with children within the special needs field will be an advantage, but the most important is that you can see yourself in one of the most important key positions in the child's and families' daily life, and ensure a pleasant and safe drive for the individual child.

As a driver we expect you to be reliable and able to work every morning from Monday to Friday in the time window 6:15-9:00 and be willing to step in during the other drivers' vacation, time off or illness. The buses run in the time window 06:15 – 09:00 and 14:15-16:45.
