Pedagogical assistant sought for Børnehuset Kastaniebakken

The Kastaniebakken Kindergarten is seeking a pedagogical assistant for our kindergarten with start as soon as possible.

About the job The Kastaniebakken Kindergarten sits in the beautiful nature of Birkerød with a large playground, forest, lake and fields around us. Our overarching pedagogical profile is Nature and Science, but we are curious about everything we experience, both outdoors and indoors.

We are passionate about pedagogy and the good child life and actively work with didactics, learning environments, communities and the adults' role to best support all children's participation opportunities and development.

We seek a pedagogical assistant who, in collaboration with skilled colleagues, will take care of the pedagogical task in our kindergarten. You may very well be trained as a pedagogical assistant, but it is not a requirement.

• Thrive with creative activities and preferably bring ideas and inspiration into daily life.
• Have joy in singing and using music as a natural part of interaction with the children.
• Possess good collaboration skills, can reflect in the community and actively contribute to the pedagogical development in the house.
• Can or are willing to learn how to incorporate children's interests into the pedagogical practice and, through structure and framing of the child group, create space for presence and seize the opportunities that arise in interaction with the children.
• Is well-structured and can frame the day together with your colleagues for the benefit of both children and adults.
• Sees parental collaboration as an important element of the pedagogical practice.

Employment terms The position is 37 hours per week with start as soon as possible. Salary and terms follow the applicable collective agreement.

About us Kastaniebakken is a municipal 0-6 years kindergarten with about 100 children and 25 employees.

We have three toddler groups and three kindergarten groups, including a forest group, which is in nature every day, as well as a group for the upcoming school children.
