We are looking for you who thrive with 2:1 pedagogical work, and who with your calm nervous system can professionally guide a citizen with complex challenges through everyday life.

We are expanding our offerings once again and are looking for you who would like to join the journey. We are currently seeking both pedagogical staff and 2 awake night shifts.

With us you become a central part of the team, where you take ownership of your tasks. You will be an important part of the house with the possibility to make independent decisions, but also brainstorm with your colleagues daily.

In your team you will follow an annual cycle that provides time for professional deepening of the pedagogical efforts as well as professional supervision. We expect that you are persistent and have strong competencies in creating and maintaining a clear structure, predictability and fixed routines.

We place great emphasis on propriety, recognition in the work, and that you feel heard. Thus you will also experience great flexibility to balance your work and private life.

Because the citizen may have self-harming behavior as well as a special need for both physical and psychological presence during all waking hours, a professionalism is expected that enables you to maintain calm and overview in complex situations, and at the same time reflect on the underlying behavior. As a worker in a 2:1 structure you always have a colleague who supports you, just as you support them in the task.

We expect that you have

• A relevant pedagogical or health professions education – such as pedagogue, pedagogical assistant, teacher, social worker, occupational and physiotherapist, SOSU assistant or nurse (must have an interest in the pedagogical field) or experience with the target group
• Knowledge of autism, echolalia and working with people with physical and mental disabilities and psychological challenges
• The ability to act with empathy, reflection and professional robustness in situations where cooperation with the citizen places increased demands on your emotional capacity and judgment
• An understanding that there is often a need for structure and predictability to create security and well-being
• A high degree of empathy, honesty and a willingness to take responsibility.
• Driving license category B

In HabitusHuset Hesselager you will become part of a residential facility in Hesselager on Funen, where the mental working atmosphere and the collegial community are paramount. Although we as a rule work with a 2:1 staffing ratio, you are never alone – you will experience close collaboration and support from both colleagues and management.
