Pedagogical staff sought for a permanent team around a citizen with complex support needs

SoSu Vikaren is seeking 1-2 new colleagues for a fixed, specialized team in Fredericia.

We are looking for you who thrive in close relationship-based work, can stay calm in complex situations, and understand that high professionalism also involves structure, predictability, and continuity.

You will be part of a fixed team around an adult citizen with extensive support needs. The intervention is individually planned and takes place in the citizen's own home.

The citizen is nonverbal and requires clear structure, recognisability, and staff who can read signals and adjust their approach. Work includes, among other things, Low Arousal, relationship work, communication, structure, and support to maintain and regain calm.

Who are we looking for?

Your educational background is not the only thing we look at.

You can be a pedagogue, social and health care assistant, pedagogical assistant, or have another relevant social or health professional background. You may also have solid practical experience from the specialized social sector.

The most important is that you

• have experience with citizens/clients with complex support needs
• can work in a structured way and follow agreed professional approaches and instructions
• are calm and clear – even when a situation becomes difficult
• understand the importance of continuity and a shared professional direction
• can document professionally and contribute constructively to a team
• are stable and take responsibility for the shifts you take on
• can work independently without working in isolation professionally
• have a driving licence.

The role

The initiative is organized with high staffing coverage, and you will work closely with your colleagues around the citizen.

The work includes, among other things, support for

• structure and predictability in everyday life
• communication and relationship work
• activities and participation
• ADL and personal support
• arousal regulation and conflict prevention
• documentation and ongoing professional follow-up.

There are day, evening, night and weekend shifts in the team. The concrete number of hours is agreed based on our needs and your profile.
