In our children and youth home in Vamdrup we are seeking pedagogical staff – preferably a qualified pedagogue – who wants to become part of a everyday life where relationships, presence and security are the focus.

Right now there are 4 wonderful children, each with their own story, personality and needs. Therefore our main task is to create a everyday life where the children feel seen, understood and met with respect.

We believe that children develop through secure relationships and adults who dare to be clear, present and stable.

You will become an important adult in the children's daily life. That means you will be able to participate in the small cozy moments, create structure around everyday life, and stay calm and professional when things get difficult.

We work from an appreciative and humanistic view of children, where we look beyond the behavior and are curious about what the child is trying to tell us.

Who are you?

We imagine you are a trained pedagogue or have another relevant pedagogical/social work background.

But the most important for us is not only your credential. We are looking for someone who has heart in the work and genuinely wishes to make a difference for children who need something extra from the adults around them.

You must be able to work independently, but at the same time be part of a team where we help each other, share our professionalism and take responsibility for the common task.

You should want a workday that cannot always be planned down to the smallest detail – but where you can go home with the feeling that you have been important to a child.
