Pedagogue, PA, SSA or SSH wanted for Botilbud Sankelmarksvej

Be part of creating a daily life with meaning and security.

Are you passionate about making a visible difference in other people's lives, where your professionalism, empathy and structure really move things? At Sankelmarksvej you will have the opportunity to put your pedagogical knowledge into practice – every day. Here we work with closeness, respect and high professionalism, and we help each other to see opportunities rather than limitations.

Who are you, and which qualities do we expect?

We are looking for you who either is a trained pedagog, pedagogical assistant, SSA or SSH and has the heart in the right place. You want to develop both yourself and the citizens' daily lives with consideration, safety and perseverance. We expect you to meet the citizens at eye level and be able to see their strengths and resources – regardless of starting point.

You have a natural eye for structure and a clear, equal communication – both in relation to citizens and colleagues. You have good IT skills and actively work with documentation as part of your practice. Flexibility is important to us, and the same applies to the ability to take initiative, follow up tasks to completion and intervene when necessary. We also expect that you have a driver's license and engage in the community across professional groups.

Your daily work and the neuro-pedagogical approach

With us you will support the citizens both practically and socially, with the aim of increasing their well-being and quality of life. Daily life at Sankelmarksvej is characterized by structure, equal communication and support for social activities. You help the citizens through relationship work, where you focus on what succeeds – and you celebrate the successes together with them.

You will among other things

• help and support citizens with finances, relationships and conflict management
• support practical tasks such as tidying, cleaning and shopping
• motivate and support for employment as well as structuring the individual's daily life
• contribute to participation in social events and communities
• take care of tasks around personal hygiene and mobility
• work systematically with documentation and development of our pedagogical practice

We work from a neuro-pedagogical belief, where each citizen's resources, needs and interests are central; the focus is on the whole person. Quality of life and health are closely connected for us – therefore we always focus on both physical and mental well-being in the support we provide. Our citizens have very individual needs, so we emphasize structuring the days and creating predictability and security for all. Your workday will involve transfers and personal care. Several of our citizens are nonverbal or require support in their communication.

Benefits of the job – why you should choose us

You will join a dedicated team where professional sparring, development and collaboration go hand in hand – both in daily work and with the opportunity to enhance your competencies.

We offer

• a management that trusts employees, where shared responsibility grows in line with your professionalism
• a good, dynamic and safe working environment with room for initiative and humor
• professional sparring and development opportunities – including upskilling within neuro-pedagogy, medication management and transfer
• close involvement with relatives and respect for the partnership with the families
• interprofessional collaboration both internally and externally in the center
• a workplace with a strong health focus – physical as well as mental

We work according to the values of Vordingborg Municipality and share a common desire to support the individual as best as possible and create the framework for quality of life and active participation in the community.
