We are looking for an educator who…

• can formulate clear goals and actions in writing.

• wants to help residents with personal hygiene, during meals, with medications, etc., while using their education and professional knowledge from pedagogy.

Riis Friplejehjem – a home and a good workplace

We are part of Danske Diakonhjem and work from the values of closeness, care, inclusiveness and individuality, joy of life and community. With us, residents’ life stories and wishes are in the center – and we take pride in creating homely surroundings where life is lived and everyday life makes sense.

Riis Friplejehjem is a newly renovated care home with room for 40 residents – spread over 2 floors. We have a wide age range among the residents, who are different residents with their own needs, and some are physically care-demanding residents with a psychiatric overlay.

We place great emphasis on it being a home for all our residents – while at the same time there must be room for the individual. We have our own kitchen and both residents and staff meet daily for pleasant company around meals.

We have a large hall for collective activities, where the activity staff arranges various activities for the residents. Volunteers and friends also play an active role in everyday life

We respect each other’s differences and among staff we attach great importance to openness - honesty and dialogue – and humor is part of our everyday life.

We are a home where relatives should feel welcome and where they will experience themselves as part of the home. As we are a private care home, relatives also have the opportunity to take part in everyday life to the extent they have the opportunity and desire to do so.

About the positions and benefits

• Working hours can be agreed, but we anticipate 30-37 hours/week
• Working hours are mixed day/evening, primarily day shifts
• We work every other weekend in a fixed team, eventually every third weekend
• Health insurance, which among other things offers physiotherapist, chiropractor, etc.
• A tasty meal arrangement for a small fee
• We have well-being ambassadors and offers of group gymnastics/exercise several times a week
• Salary and employment according to current collective agreement
