The National Pharmacy is looking for a pharmacist/pharmaconomist for an exciting and versatile workplace where hospital pharmacy and primary care pharmacy are gathered under one roof. About the National Pharmacy The National Pharmacy's core tasks are to service Dronning Ingrids Hospitals departments and dispense medicines by prescription to Nuuk’s residents.

Since medications for residents are free in Greenland, there will be no sale of medicines or over-the-counter products. There is therefore no upselling or work with consultants and chains. We place emphasis on a good working environment characterized by engagement, professionalism, good colleagues and a focus on development and improvements. The management is accessible, there are good opportunities for sparring, and we have close collaboration with the hospital's doctors, nurses and other clinical staff.

As part of the Greenlandic health service you will have the opportunity to work broadly and independently in an environment where cooperation, flexibility and professionalism are essential. A daily life with variation and professionalism You will have a diverse daily routine with both clinical, operational and logistical tasks. The tasks will be adapted to your qualifications, experience and interests. Your tasks may include, among others:

• Medication management including dispensing and administration of medication to inpatients
• Medication service at the hospital's departments
• Dispensing prescriptions and providing medicines at the pharmacy counter
• Handling medication orders, stock management and distribution to smaller settlements
• Dialogue with departments and specialities about drug consumption and assortment
