Physiotherapist for a permanent position in the neuro-team in Brønderslev Municipality

Do you have solid experience in the neurological field – and are you passionate about making a difference for citizens within this area? Then you may be our new colleague in the Department for Prevention, Rehabilitation and Training in Brønderslev Municipality.

We are looking for an engaged and professionally strong physiotherapist for a fixed position of 37 hours per week with start date 1 December 2026.

About the position

As part of our neuro-team you will be colleagues with a physiotherapist, two occupational therapists and two brain injury coordinators. Together we handle rehabilitation after the Health Act §140 as well as training and rehabilitation after SEL/Elderly Act for citizens with neurological challenges – including citizens with concussion. There is a neuropsychologist attached who offers ongoing supervision on citizen cases.

In addition there will be tasks broadly within rehabilitation after Health Act §140, Free of charge Physiotherapy, and rehabilitation after Elderly Act §10 and Service Act §83a.

The work takes place both in the citizen's home and in the municipality's health centers in Brønderslev and Dronninglund, with primary meeting place in Dronninglund.

Your tasks will include

• Rehabilitation, training and rehabilitation of referred citizens
• Goal clarification and planning of programmes in close dialogue with the citizen and possibly relatives
• Interdisciplinary collaboration and coordination internally and externally
• Motivation work focusing on guiding citizens to lasting exercise and social opportunities after completing the programme
• Planning of your own work with focus on efficient use of resources

We are looking for you, who

• Is a trained physiotherapist and has experience and possibly further education within the neurological area
• Has experience with municipal tasks within the above areas
• Is professionally engaged and motivated to work with citizens' self-management
• Trives with a broad contact surface and many professional collaborative relations
• Has good cooperation skills, where dialogue and listening shape the relationship
• Is structured, independent and initiative-taking
• Can document professionally and accurately in written documentation
• Contributes positively to both citizens' journeys and the work environment in the department

Salary and employment terms

The position is 37 hours per week and you are employed as self-organizing with varying working hours.

It is a prerequisite that you have a driving license and can use your own car in the job.

Salary and employment terms follow the applicable collective agreement.
