Physiotherapist for rehabilitation, Sundhedshuset in Vejle

We are in the process of scaling up our staff and are therefore seeking one physiotherapist for a permanent position of 37 hours per week.

About the job

The position includes tasks within general rehabilitation according to the Health Act § 140.

You will become part of our orthopaedic team, where you will work with

• rehabilitation within the orthopaedic surgical area for both children, adults and the elderly
• independent planning of your work tasks and your daily life
• interdisciplinary sparring and collaboration with skilled colleagues
• development of our professional practice and services to citizens.

Experience with the pediatric area is an advantage, as a smaller part of the position will be aimed at children and young people.

We also have a mobile team that carries out rehabilitation for elderly citizens in their own home when they cannot come to the Health House. In periods there may be a need for you to contribute to the mobile function, e.g., in connection with maternity leave. Typically up to two days a week.

About us

Rehabilitation department is administratively located in Sundhedshuset Vejle and also has a smaller satellite clinic in Give.

We are 1 department head, 3 coordinators, 2 brain injury coordinators, 22 physiotherapists and 6 occupational therapists.

We offer rehabilitation at two facilities and, if needed, in the citizen's own home. We are also well underway with developing and implementing digital rehabilitation through, among other things, apps and video consultations.

The therapists work as a rule within well-defined professional areas, which provides the opportunity to build and develop specialized competencies. At the same time we attach great importance to being one team, where we help each other, share our knowledge and step in when needed – also in peak load periods.

We would like all therapists to have one longer workday per week until 16:30, so we can accommodate the demand for late training times for citizens who are employed.

Employment terms

Employment date is January 1, 2027, and the position is 37 hours per week. If you would like a lower number of hours, it must be stated in your application, and we emphasize a therapist who can be approximately full-time.

The workplace is primarily Sundhedshuset in Vejle.

A driving license and willingness to use your own car for the mobile function is an advantage.

Salary and employment terms under the applicable collective agreement and local pay.

Job interviews are expected to be held on November 12, 2026 from 12:30 to 15:00.

Information on starting salary

Employment is under the Collective Agreement for occupational therapists, physiotherapists and midwives, § 4.

The expected starting salary per month for full-time and excluding pension is in the range 30,000 DKK - 38,000 DKK..

It should be noted that the final placement, including collective bargaining basis and salary level, is determined based on your education and qualifications and the specific offered position.
